Didgeridoo Education in Jacksonville Florida

Didgeridoo Keith | Didgeridoo Keith: Posts & Press |

Today, I went to Jacksonville and made didgeridoo music with a group of bright young kids from Jax-Pals. I educated them about the origins of the didgeridoo, how they are made and played, and answered the few dozens of questions presented to me.

This event was to teach the kids on world music, and two other musicians were present and also performed. They were great. One gentleman told traditional stories and played the djembe of Africa, and the other group was a brass jazz trio representing American music. After we all performed solos, we had a group jam session while the kids danced around the room. Great opportunity to have fun and pull out some didgeridoo tricks.
